Dangerous Goods Policy

It is the Box Operator (NVOCC/MAIN LINES) responsibility to complete the Dangerous Goods Declaration form, on which they must include the following details as Mandatory:

  1. The UN Number.
  2. Proper Shipping name of the dangerous goods & class.
  3. Net weight of the dangerous goods and the total shipment weight.
  4. Inner and Outer packing details.
  5. Full address and contact details of the shipper and consignee in case of emergencies.
  6. MSDS copy with all DG request.
  7. If tanks, then valid class approved tank certificates.
  8. Packaging Certificate for IMCO Class 5 and 6 cargo to check for Special exclusive acceptance to load if Internal compliance met.
  9. Related documents for safe carriage.

Incorrect, inadequate or falsified declaration(s) and Dangerous Goods documentation will attract and be liable for substantial fines.

Dangerous Goods classified as Class 1 and Class 7 are strictly prohibited for carriage and shall not be tendered by the Box Operator.
