GFS Launches Four New Feeder Services Across West and East Africa
Global Feeder Shipping (GFS) is proud to announce the launch of four new feeder services, as part of our strategic expansion into Africa. These services reinforce GFS’s commitment, responding to emerging market demands, and unlocking new trade corridors across the African continent. The launch of these services aligns with GFS’s long-term strategic goals. Service details as follows,
- PDS – Pointe Noire – Douala Service
Rotation: Pointe Noire – Douala – Pointe Noire
This new route enhances cargo flow between two of West Africa’s key commercial ports, ensuring consistent and reliable service for our partners.
- CEG – Congo Equatorial Guinea Service
Rotation: Pointe Noire – Malabo – Bata – Libreville – Pointe Noire
The CEG service enables direct access to Equatorial Guinea and Gabon via key transshipment hub Pointe Noire, supporting increased intra-regional trade and logistics efficiency across Western Africa.
- PMS – Pointe Noire – Matadi Service
Rotation: Pointe Noire – Matadi – Pointe Noire
With a weekly schedule, this service improves inland and port logistics within the Democratic Republic of Congo and enhancing supply chain responsiveness.
- MZS – Mombasa – Zanzibar Service
Rotation: Mombasa – Zanzibar – Mombasa
This route connect two important ports and facilitates trade in one of the region’s fastest-growing economies.
GFS currently operates three services into East Africa. The FAD and FAM services connecting various Chinese ports to Dar Salam and Mombasa. The recently commenced KJM service connects Mombasa to Jeddah.
GFS currently operates thirty-two services connecting various geographic locations in Asia, S/East Asia, India sub-continent, Middle East, Red Sea, Mediterranean and Africa.
